DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 899 LUBRICAST 899 is45% Solids, semi-synthetic with three super high performance polymers that range from 200°F to 800°F. It is formulated for the aluminum, magnesium or zinc die caster with large or small complex molds. LUBRICAST 899 forms a micro-stable emulsion in both hard and soft water. Recommend ratios from 30:1 to 300:1. Cast parts may be painted or plated without concern for lack of adhesion. LUBRICAST 899 will enhance casting quality and will reduce cycle times.
DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 840 D LUBRICAST 840 D is 47% solids, semi-synthetic with three different high performance polymers that range from 200°F to 800°F. Formulated for aluminum, magnesium or zinc. Recommend ratios from 30:1 to 200:1.
DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 820 D LUBRICAST 820 D 21% solids, semi-synthetic with three different high performance polymers that range from 200°F to 800°F. Formulated for aluminum, magnesium or zinc. Recommended ratios from 20:1 to 100:1.
DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 814 ZR LUBRICAST 814 ZR is a light to medium duty die release agent for use on zinc die casting operations. This micro emulsion was specifically formulated to eliminate buildup and ensure dimensional stability. The bright clean finish enables parts to be paint able or plated. LUBRICAST 814 ZR is easily mixed in water and may be diluted from 50:1 to 100:1 ratios. It is easily applied with hand held or automatic spray systems. LUBRICAST 814 ZR is a tightly bonded micro emulsion that will not clog spray nozzles and is easily cleaned up.
DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 898 NS LUBRICAST 898 NS is a high performance non-silicone die release agent. It is formulated for the aluminum and zinc die caster with complex or detailed molds. LUBRICAST 898NS forms a micro-stable solution in both hard and soft water and may be used in fully automatic spray systems or hand-held units. LUBRICAST 898NS is extremely resistant to rancidity and can be diluted up to 20:1 to 100:1 with water. This new Chemtool Incorporated technology has an extremely successful history of producing high volume castings weighing over 50 pounds.
DIE RELEASE LUBRICAST 935 LUBRICAST 935 is a high performance die release agent that may be diluted out to 120 to 1. It is formulated for the aluminum, magnesium or zinc die caster with large of small complex molds. LUBRICAST 935 forms a micro-stable emulsion in both hard and soft water.
START-UP/SOLDER REMOVAL LUBRICAST HI TEMP LUBRICAST HI TEMP may be used as a high performance start-up release by applying a thin coat with a pump spray bottle. When using the LUBRICAST HI TEMP as a start-up release it is recommended to be used in neat form or 1:1 ratio. LUBRICAST HI TEMP may also be used as an anti-solder removal spray easily applied by pump spray bottle directly to the solder area in net form.
START-UP/SOLDER REMOVAL LUBRICAST 628 LUBRICAST 628 is a complex blend of paraffin based solvents that is designed to coat a protective layer on the mold surface for cold start-ups. It is also designed to aid in the removal of stuck castings by applying the LUBRICAST 628 to the outer edge of stuck castings. The complex blends of polymers are designed to wick and apply a protective layer between the casting and mold for gentle removal of the casting. LUBRICAST 628 may be applied by brush or spray.
START-UP/SOLDER REMOVAL DIKOTE 1212 DIKOTE 1212, also known as anti-solder paste, is a complex blend of organic waxes and high temperature lubricity additives. DIKOTE 1212 is primarily used in the event that excessive solder build-up occurs on the casting mold and may also be used as a start-up aid. DIKOTE 1212 is a thick paste that may be applied by a stiff bristle brush.
START-UP/SOLDER REMOVAL LUBRICAST Bee’s Wax LUBRICAST Bee’s Wax is a solid 3″ wide by 4″ long thick block of Bee’s Wax designed to aid the removal of stuck castings by first applying heat to the surrounding area of the mold and the stuck casting. By pressing the LUBRICAST Bee’s Wax to the outer edge of stuck castings in the preheated area the Bee’s Wax will wick and apply a protective layer between the casting and mold for gentle removal of the casting.
TIP/PLUNGER LUBES LUBRICAST 14 A 9,000 SUS viscosity @ 100°F, water washable semi-fluid with high temperature lubricity additives. LUBRICAST 14 may be applied by drip, brush or by internal sleeve high-pressure methods.
TIP/PLUNGER LUBES LUBRICAST 28 A heavy duty, high viscosity product, LUBRICAST 28 is an oil-based product that incorporates high temperature lubricity additives. This combination provides the wetting, film strength and maximum protection required for the plunger tips and shot sleeves.
TIP/PLUNGER LUBES LUBRICAST 677 WS LUBRICAST 677 WS is 38% solids, semi-synthetic, non-graphite water soluble, with high temperature lubricity additives. Ratios from neat up to 6:1. May be applied directly into the shot chamber through the pour hole, drip, brush or by internal sleeve high-pressure methods.
TIP/PLUNGER SHOT BEADS LUBRICAST PROSHOT 429 A 4 to 9 mesh size graphite coated solid wax based lubricant with extreme pressure and boundary lubricants. LUBRICAST PROSHOT 429 is designed to be dispensed into the cold chamber prior to metal pour.
QUENCHING/ TRIMMING FLUIDS CT 500-LC 46% solids, true solution, oil rejecting synthetic designed with rust preventives for trim dies and quench tanks. CT 500-LC offers maximum heat transfer and corrosion protection of aluminum and zinc castings at 2%. Designed with high performance lubricity additives for trimming operations, CT 500-LC can be used at 5%.
QUENCHING/ TRIMMING FLUIDS CT 250-NC General-purpose soluble oil designed with rust preventives for trim dies and quenching tanks. CT 250-NC offers maximum heat transfer and corrosion protection of aluminum and zinc castings at 4%. Designed with a high performance lubricity additive for the trim die operation at 7%.
TRIMMING FLUIDS CT 3430 Vanishing oil used to trim aluminum and zinc casting. CT 3430 has a light lubricating oil that helps lubricate the trim die’s functional components. CT 3430 also has a solvent carrier that helps eliminate cleaning when solvent carrier evaporates. CT 3430 is to be used in neat form and has a flash point of 120°F.
HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS CT 400 HTO CT 400 HTO is a premium heat transfer liquid that is used to cool and heat casting molds. Provides oxidation and thermal stability in vented systems at continuous temperatures up to 600°F.
HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS CT 500 HTO CT 500 HTO is the same as the CT 400 HTO with the addition of a premium oxidation and thermal stability package that provides less maintenance and longer sump life.
FIRE RESISTANT HYDRAULIC FLUIDS LUBRICAST 902-LPC LUBRICAST 902-LPC is a 200 SUS viscosity at 100°F. Water glycol fire resistant hydraulic fluid, with an ideal operating temperature range 100°F to 120°F maximum continuous 130°F to 140°F, maximum spike 150°F. Typical operating pressure 2000 PSI to 3000 PSI withstanding spike of 5000 PSI. ASTM D 2882 Vickers pump test total wear of less than 25 mg.
FIRE RESISTANT HYDRAULIC ADDITIVES CT 324-CI CT 324-CI Iis a LUBRICAST 902-LPC water and morpholine based additive. Used to increase reserve alkalinity, in order to maintain corrosion protection levels of water glycol products.
FIRE RESISTANT HYDRAULIC ADDITIVES CT 910-C CT 910-C is a 960 SUS water glycol hydraulic fluid concentrate additive used to increase the viscosity of hydraulic systems containing LUBRICAST 902-LPC. Note: Typical reason for low viscosity is due to excessive water being introduced to the hydraulic system.
