DESCRIPTION
CT 239 is a tri-purpose oil formulated as a cutting oil and used as a gear oil and/or hydraulic fluid in the lubricating systems. The advantage of this oil is realized in automatic machine tools in which, because of leakage from one oil system to another, there may be a considerable intermingling of lubricants. The use of CT 239 as both lube oil and cutting oil assures excellent machinability while minimizing the likelihood of staining on the sensitive metals used in gear and hydraulic systems. The non-staining features of CT 239 make the oil well suited for machining of copper and copper alloys. CT 239 contains chlorine and non-staining inactive sulfur for extreme pressure properties.
CT 239 is rust and oxidation inhibited.

APPLICATION
CT 239 is recommended for light to moderate machining of mild steels, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The product is also recommended to be used to lubricate the machine tool, eliminating the dilution of the cutting oil due to excess leakage of lubricant.

BENEFITS
Light amber color and low odor. Tri-purpose oil to reduce inventory. Can be used on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. High-performance EP package provides excellent performance on a variety of metals.
