DESCRIPTION
Rust Rid is a uniquely formulated water-based rust remover that exhibits a near neutral pH. Rust Rid is ideally suited for removing rust on cast iron alloys, tool steels, and all carbon steels. Rust Rid is most effective against surface and blush rust. Rust Rid contains no caustic, toxic, or hazardous components.Rust Rid offers excellent wetting and defoaming properties allowing for uniform coverage on complex part geometries in immersion applications.Note: For best results, it is recommended that Rust Rid be used in immersion baths for optimum exposure and coverage. In addition, if Rust Rid is to be used for extended periods of time, it should be used only in process vessels composed of plastic, fiberglass, or stainless steel alloys (316 stainless steel) to avoid potential chelation and staining of process vessel surfaces. Although heat accelerates the rust removing ability of Rust Rid, it can be extremely effective at ambient temperatures if given sufficient concentration and processing time. For purposes of testing, evaluate Rust Rid at 15% to 25% in cold solutions and 5% to 20% in solutions at 140°F or 160°F depending on the substrate metallurgy and condition as well as the type and degree of corrosion being removed. Initial screening evaluations should be conducted in the lab prior to full-scale implementation under industrial conditions.

APPLICATION
Rust Rid should always be added to the water in the system tank with mild agitation. Mild agitation during use will also improve performance. Filter accumulated rust from the system over time. Evaluations should be conducted in the lab prior to full-scale implementation under industrial conditions.

BENEFITS
Neutral pH for easy handling and worker health, safety, and piece of mind. Low use concentration assures low consumption and cost effectiveness. High detergency/surfactant additive package providing added cleaning power beyond alkalinity. Easily dilutable and hard water stable. Low foaming. Excellent wetting and coverage on all ferrous alloys.

DESCRIPTION
Rust Rid Duo A Ready to Use is a uniquely formulated two package water based rust stripper with a near-neutral pH. Rust Rid Duo A Ready to Use is ideally suited for removing rust on cast iron alloys, tool steels and all carbon steels. It is slightly less effective on stainless steel alloys. The product is most effective against surface and blush rust.

Rust Rid Duo A is composed of two products, namely Rust Rid Duo A Ready to Use (400020), and Rust Rid Duo Inhibitor Ready to Use (520040). These two products are used sequentially in the hand spray application process. Rust Rid Duo A Ready to Use is used as supplied to remove rust, and Rust Rid Duo Inhibitor Ready to Use is used after rust removal to prevent re-rusting. Note: For best results it is recommended that Rust Rid Duo A Ready to Use be sprayed on the part, kept wet for 10-15 minutes (DO NOT ALLOW TO DRY), and, if needed, some mechanical action (brass brush) may be used, dependent upon the severity of the rust. Once rust removal has been completed, the part should optimally be rinsed or at least wiped dry. After rinsing or wiping, Rust Rid Duo Inhibitor Ready to Use should be immediately and liberally applied and allowed to dry on the part.

BENEFITS
• Neutral pH in the working bath for easy handling and worker health and safety piece of mind
• No heavy metal ingredients

DESCRIPTION
Rust Rid SP is a uniquely formulated, water-based surface rust and tarnish remover, for all metals. Rust Rid SP is ideally suited for manually removing surface rust on cast iron alloys, tool steels and all carbon steels. It is slightly less effective on stainless steel alloys. The product is most effective against surface and blush rust. It is mildly acidic formulation (citric acid based) contains a unique blend of surfactants for the effective loosening and removal of surface corrosion from ferrous substrates. It is especially effective at removing surface rust from machine surfaces (tables and tooling) due to improperly maintained or contaminated metalworking fluids.

Rust Rid SP demonstrates exceptional wetting and coverage properties allowing for uniform performance on all metals. Rust Rid SP exhibits moderate foaming characteristics. Rust Rid SP is also an effective tarnish remover for all yellow metals including copper and brass alloys. It is especially effective as a tarnish remover for vibratory or ultrasonic immersion applications for yellow metals.

Although heat accelerates the corrosion removing capabilities of Rust Rid SP, it can be extremely effective at ambient temperatures, given sufficient concentration, processing time and use directions are closely followed.

BENEFITS
• Mild acidic pH for easy handling and worker health and safety
• No heavy metal or hazardous ingredients
• Optimal performance via manual or mechanical applications
• High detergency/surfactant package for effective corrosion removal
